The role of poetic imagery in transferring the emotional and mental experiences and reflecting on its elements indicates the poet's worldview. This is to the point where the impact on the addressee and the quality of the literary work cannot be denied. Investigating this feature and its function in the poetry of Shia's Arabic poets, as a branch of Islamic Literature includes a great part of Arabic poetries, is an issue that a descriptive and analytical approach of the present paper deals with. The findings show that the use of poetic imagery by Shia's poets seems to act as a weapon against the rulers and authorities of the time. By using true emotional and mental poetic imagery, the Shia poets have impressed their readers and have given them certain grandeur and glory.

Stories written for children play an important role in developing their personalities. The child infers many of the moral values through reading good and instructive stories. Courage, altruism, hopefulness, freedom, advocating truth and standing against tyranny and violence are among the values that shape the central core of many children's stories. This causes the development of cognitive, emotional and social skills in children. Even if this kind of literature enjoys a long history but a scientific study of it took place after centuries. Children's literature developed during the mid-nineteenth century in Arabian countries and Egyptians were the pioneer. Nabil Soleiman Khalaf, the contemporary Egyptian writer has contributed to the development and growth of this kind of literature in Egypt and the world by writing more than twenty books for children. Based on the story, The Princess, The Red Butterfly, by Naabil Khalaf, the present study is intended to analyze writer's purpose of writing for children, the language and characters of his stories. The findings of the study indicate that the writer aims to improve creativity and imagination, decision making, and child reasoning to prepare them for social life. The author seeks the proper realization of social, instructive, moral, and scientific goals in the young generation of Egypt via the presentation of the characters of the story.

Sophists try to purify the soul through knowledge and wisdom before it unites with the God in the afterworld. Although some believe that stylistics is a new knowledge, but the first scientists who paid attention to style were rhetoricians. Stylistic deviation is clearly evident in the rhetoric. Some of its rules are based on semantic deviation and others are based on the verbal deviation. Semantics rhetoric does not often deal with issues based on defamiliarization. Genetic stylistics attempts to relate the writer's emotions to his style. In rhetoric the poet's mood is evident; however, it has not been dealt with as it should have. Structural stylistics examines a literary work as one piece and considers words and their meanings in relation to other. Semantics also deals with some rules and issues in the same manner. Rhetoricians discussed composition only in one or a couple of sentences. Descriptive stylistics measures words and phrases with similar themes and talks about the different kinds of emotions that it creates. Semantics expresses some of its issues in the same way but to some extent, it becomes authoritative and dominant. In the phonetic stylistics, semantics has defined the condition of words and word fluency in relation to musical aspects, such as being devoid of cacophony, reluctant to listen, repetition, and so forth. The findings show that there is a close bond between stylistics and rhetorician especially that of semantics.
