Article 3: How to refer within the Persian text

Although there are many styles for referencing and citation, the authors of the article should use the APA (American Psychological Association) style to avoid typing difficulties, disturbing the aesthetic structure of the pages and other difficulties. Therefore, the method of in-text referencing is only acceptable for the journal in the following way, inside parentheses:

(last name of the author, year of publication of the work: page or pages); such as (Zarinkoob, 1388: 52)

Note 1: Mathematical numbers in Persian texts should be written from right to left according to the principles of Persian writing; such as 25, 36, 48, and...; For example (Taftazani, 1385: 51-56) or (Adonis, 1412 AH: 8-10)

Note 2: Make sure that the name of the book or author is separated by a comma (,) from the year of publication and the year of publication from the page or pages, separated by a colon (:).

Note 3: In case of immediate reference to the previous source, refrain from mentioning the name of the book or the author and the year of publication, and only mention the page or pages in the same form; like (same: 56)

Note 4: If the book has more than one volume, the volume number should be mentioned after the year and before the page; such as (Molavi, 2018, Vol. 5: 85) or (Adonis, 2012, Vol. 2: 50)

Note 5: If the last name of two authors is the same at the time of writing, the first name of each should also be mentioned for differentiation; Example: (Jalal Al-Ahmed, 1384: 25) - (Shams Al-Ahmad, 1384: 84)

Note 6: If the same author of two books with the same year is used, they should be identified with letters, numbering and in the list of end references along with mentioning the year inside the parenthesis; As

(Shafii Kadkani, 1389 A: 59) and (Shafii Kadkani, 1389 B: 240)

In the end reference list:

Shafie Kadkani, Mohammad Reza. (1389 A) ..

Note 7: Referencing an English source, whether a book or an article, is also the same as referring to a Persian source; Like (Jones, 2003:56)

Note 8: If the publication year of the source is Lunar Hijri, to distinguish it from the publication year of the Solar Hijri, in the in-text reference and the end list, the letter "ق" should be mentioned next to the publication year; Like (Adonis, 1412 ق: 8-10)
