Abstract

Numerous literary works, since the birth of Imam Ali up to the present time, have been written to praise and describe the life of Imam Ali, many of which contain elegant semantics and beautiful words and expressions not only in Shia's prose and poetry but also in the works of Arab Christians. The present paper studies the contemporary works of literary Christians such as George Gordagh, Abdul-Masih Antaki, Josef Al-Hashem, Nasri Sahlab, Bols Salameh and others. Their works have been categorized and their turning points have been chosen and analyzed. Some events of the Imam's birth such as the crack of the Kaaba, emission of light, and many other secrets of his birth are studied under an analytical approach.
