Conceptual Blending Theory of Fauconnier and Turner (1992), in Cognitive Semantics, includes explanations for Conceptual Metaphors too. Accordingly, CM is the result of CB. Since the construction of LOVE metaphors in mystic texts involve complicated processes and requires semantic justification, this investigation aims at analysis of CM of LOVE in the book Fiqh Al- Eshq by Youssef Zidan, a famous Egyptian novelist. The results show that the author has selected input spaces including FIRE, FOOD, WATER, LIGHT, PLANT and FETUS to conceptualize mystic LOVE, because they have conceptual potentiality to simulate mystic LOVE and some of its related components through vital relation of analogy. The mental spaces of LOVE in one domain (i.e. Target) and the above sources spaces (i.e. Sources) are compressed and combined in another new space called the Blend. There are Generic spaces containing action, cause, change, motion etc. which manage the relation of input spaces. The selection of input spaces is based on background knowledge and situational-cultural context of the conceptualizer. Through this metaphorical integration, certain components such as the dynamics of love, its transformation, movement, suffering, joy, its knowledge are projected onto the blended space, and some other components, such as the characteristics of the beloved, remain floating. It seems that Zidan mostly focuses on the representation of love and the states of love. In the completion stage, the audience''s knowledge of mystical love helps him to fill out the semantic gaps, so the meaning can be fully run in the discourse situations.

Cognitive linguistics research has revealed that the human body and its physical experiences are integral components of cognitive architecture. The concept of "embodied cognition" is a fundamental principle within the Cognitive linguistics. The utilization of linguistic expressions to depict abstract notions is a manifestation of a fundamental principle. This phenomenon is ubiquitous across all languages and presents a viable avenue for investigating the cognitive and cultural conceptualizations of various ethnic groups. Utilizing the descriptive-analytical approach, the current study has examined the term "Ayn" in the three-volume work of "Al-Maajm al-Musaoi Lal-Tabir al-Istalahi fi Al-Lagha Al-Arabiya" authored by Mohammed Mohammad Dawood. The objective of this investigation was to ascertain how Arabic speakers have employed this term in conceptualization and to identify the specific regions where it is most frequently used. The findings of the data analysis suggested that the term "Ayn" in this language serves as a cognitive instrument that conceptualizes multiple target domains, many of which pertain to abstract domains. These target domains align with the ones introduced by Kovecses (1946), including "psychological and mental states and actions," "experiences," and "social processes." Notably, the frequency of the "psychological and mental performance domains" is noteworthy among these domains. The cognitive examination of these concepts can be customized to the cognitive processes of conceptual metaphor, conceptual metonymy, and conventional knowledge. The metaphorical mappings "eye is a container," "eye is a person," and metonymy of "a tool instead of an action" is noted to be among the most prevalent.

Riffaterre's theory of semiotics analyzes the text by examining all the structural aspects of the poem, including accumulation, descriptive system, hypogram, and structural network. This theory is based on the structure of the poem, the relationship between the signifiers, and reaching the final meaning of the poem. The poem “Unshūdat almaṭar” depicts the suffering soul of the poet in hisexile, and the conditions of Iraqi society. Based on this, the mentioned ode is a suitable text for semiotic analysis. Using the semiotic theory of Michael Riffaterre, this research has discussed the ode" Unshūdat almaṭar" in an analytical-descriptive way. The findings of the research indicate that based on Riffaterre's approach, deeper meanings such as love for the homeland, struggle, hope for change and progress can be taken from the ode "Anshouda Al Matar". The exploratory reading of this ode shows that the poet is trying to express his longing by describing his lover's eyes with romantic words. The heuristic reading of this ode shows that the poet is trying to express his longing by describing his lover's eyes with romantic words But the retroactive reading shows that the poet's beloved is the homeland, and the poet speaks of his love for the homeland in his sojourn and exile and invites his compatriots to fight and stand against tyranny. In this ode, there are four accumulations with four sememes: beloved, nature, rain and sea, and three descriptive systems with the cores of homeland, oppression and hope for change and transformation.

The novel “Kings of Sands” by the contemporary Iraqi writer Ali Badr is a multi-layered narrative in which the author tries to narrate a section of the reality of Iraqi history with an irregular narration. The theory of Jep Lint-Volt in narratology is based on the confrontation of the narrator and the audience with the actors, and in his opinion, every narrative has two levels: One level is related to the actors and their actions, and the other level is where the narrator and the audience are located, and these two levels are completely separate from each other. At the level of the actors, an event has happened in the past (simple past) and at the level of the narrator and the audience, who are in the present tense, they talk about what happened before with a separation (time and place) from the past. Accordingly, Lint-Volt proposed the theory of narrative typology and based it on the three aspects of the fictional world of the narrator, the actor, and the audience, which provide an examination of multiple approaches to typology. The present research aims to analyze the narrative situations of this novel with a descriptive-analytical method based on the theory of Jep Lint-Volt, to analyze the narrative methods of Ali Badr in the creation of this novel as well as his goals from these approaches. The genetic structuralism critique is chiefly concerned with the meaningful relationship between the literature structure and the societal structure where the literary work is produced. As a famous theorist of this critical approach, Lucien Goldmann attributes a special place to the category of class consciousness and thus considers the collective consciousness of the social class as an inspiring source of literary work, while using it to describe the worldview of this class in his works. The contemporary Arabic poetry is sociologically valuable due to the effects of the political, social, economic and cultural events unfolding in Arab nations. This poetry describes the feelings, worldviews and collective consciousness of social participants in Arab nations. Syrian nationalist poet, Soleiman al-Eisa, has specifically attended to class consciousness in his resistance poems and greatly contributed to the national awakening of the Arab world, via his resistance themes. The present study used the descriptive-analytical method and Lucien Goldmann’s genetic structuralism to investigate the way class consciousness is reflected in al-Eisa’s poetry and describe the role of social class’s worldviews in his poetry composition. Findings revealed that al-Eisa emphasizes in his resistance poems the culture of sacrifice, martyrdom, Jihad and fighting to reinforce Arabic national and anti-imperialist sentiments and increase the class consciousness of social players. He also plays a constructive role in changing the people’s real knowledge into possible knowledge and deviating their view of their failing past towards an illuminating future full of positive changes.

Today, due to the widespread cultural interactions and movements, the element of place has lost its static nature, as it had ancient stories, and has become a dynamic element in terms of meaning and implication. This dynamicity is more visible in novels about immigration since the cultural confrontation and, consequently, the multiplicity of meanings is provided in these types of novels more than others. "Love in Exile", the famous novel of the Egyptian storyteller, Bahaa Taher, is one of the narrative works in which place plays an important role in the reader's perception of the overall plot of the story. Intercultural communication in this work has caused the place to become a cultural code with deep and complex implications. The present study attempts to discover the implications of place in the above-mentioned work by relying on the descriptive-analytical method and by emphasizing the achievements of cultural studies. The findings indicate that, in this novel, an international conference is depicted as a central place from which the concept of multiculturalism is inferred and all events are valued accordingly. Also, based on cultural relations, each place has a meaning the understanding of which can be fulfilled through categories such as ideological identity and intellectual and cultural patterns of characters.
