Abstract

he methods of Arabic rhetoric have included important means of indirect artistic images, which are considered means of expressing meanings through various metaphorical connotations, as a single idea can be performed in different styles and multiple methods of performance with different changes that may include increases and decreases in meanings and the construction of words. When the way in which words are constructed changes, the pictorial meanings change accordingly. Islamic poets have adopted many creative graphic methods to draw wonderful artistic images, including the methods of metaphor, simile, and metonymy, which are characterized by their beauty, giving excitement to the poetic text, and the dimension of the vision they aim for, and are described as More beautiful and deeper than real styles, as it has influential revelations that attract the attention of the recipient and shake his feelings and conscience, as it pulsates with the feelings, thoughts and emotions of the creators. ‏

In this research, we have relied on the descriptive analytical method in studying rhetorical methods in Islamic poetry until the year 41 AH, and we found that both persuasion and poetic eloquence are distinguished by the fact that they are essential in the science of literature and language, and that the use of pilgrims in Islamic poetry is an important literary phenomenon that shows the ability Islamic poets are able to use rhetorical tools to express their ideas and convince the recipient of their point of view, and they used them extensively in their poetry.
