Abstract
Linguistic ecology or environmental discourse is a science that deals with how humans relate to the environment, both anatomically and physiologically, and spiritually and psychologically; In this way, in addition to portraying the literature of a work, it also shows its belief in protecting the environment. Based on this, the present research has studied the novel "Rahil al-Marafee al-Qadimah" and "Lil al-Gharba" by Ghada Al-Saman in order to deal with a descriptive-analytical approach on how nature interacts with the author's language in conveying his critical thoughts; In this regard, six selected stories from the two mentioned novels were analyzed in terms of "highlighting", "identity" and "entropy of nature and internalization" The results of the research indicate that the author, by highlighting the role of animals and invoking the characters through similes and metaphors, and by presenting images of the created identity, through identification with animals, evokes the suffering of the narrator like the suffering of an animal when accepting cruelty. And finally, he considers the tyrannical and involuntary use of animals by humans, which leads to their extinction from the ecosystem, as contrary to preserving the inherent sanctity of animals and as an indication of the illegitimate and unconditional domination of humans over natur.
