Abstract

of Prophet Moses(pbuh) which includes various topics and how he interacts with others or some social challenges.The main problem in this research is to analyze the conceptual metaphors of the story of Prophet Moses(pbuh) with the approach of Likaf's cognitive linguistics with analytical-descriptive method and with the aim of knowing more precisely the abstract concepts used in this story.Based on the findings of the research, in the verses describing the story of Prophet Moses(pbuh), the above directional metaphor(above) is used to conceptualize mastery, the safe directional metaphor(right) is used to onceptualize goodness and blessing, the directional metaphor is left(left) to conceptualize being evil, the directional metaphor Amam(front) and Khalaf(back) are used to conceptualize the future, and the directional metaphor behind(back) is used to conceptualize inattention.Also, in the conceptual metaphor section of ontology, 141 verses have the metaphor of a material phenomenon, the highest frequency of which is in Surah Taha.The metaphor of the inner container with the letter"fi" also includes 39 verses, the most frequent of which is in two surahs, Taha and Qasas.In the 13th verse of the story of Prophet Moses(pbuh), the derivatives of"Dahl" and"Kharj" are used for the metaphor of container.The metaphor of personalization is also used in 16 verses about the story of Prophet Moses(pbuh).Also, conceptual metaphors have been used in the structural part in three forms: the metaphor of playfulness, the metaphor of life as a journey, and the metaphor of seeing to know.
