Abstract

Scientific journals are very important channels for knowledge spread and represent the achievements of the scientific community. The present study examines the quantitative status of articles in Journal of Lisan-i Mubin with the aim of identifying citation behavior and co-authorship relationships. The present research has been done through Documentary Research with scientometric approach. All articles in Journal of Lisan-i Mubin (2010-2019) have formed the present research population. The data were extracted from Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) Database and analyzed using citation analysis techniques and co-authorship network. The co-authorship results’ analysis show that authors in this journal are very willing to make scientific collaboration. Dual authorship is the most common collaboration model used in this journal articles. Most of the collaborations among the journal’s authors are within the university and the collaborations are also from their own university. In addition, the current network does not have the desired coherence and density. In this journal, there is a positive and significant correlation between scientific communication and scientific productions variables, which shows that authors with more productions have more participation with other authors in preparing articles.
