Critical discourse analysis is one of the approaches of modern linguistic studies. Critical discourse is based on social constructivism and analyzes structures and meanings that have an ideological burden. The Dutch linguist Theon Wendijk (1943) examines the cognitive-social approach in the context of critical discourse analysis and makes connections between textual, cognitive and social structures. Ideology plays a fundamental role in the model of critical and individual discourse and creates schemas of the existing relationships between ideology, society, cognition and discourse, and this social interaction is crystallized in the form of text or discourse. Tahir Watar, a prominent Algerian novelist (1936), has written the novel Al-Laz, examining the political, social and cultural currents of Algeria and depicting the colonized Algerian society. In this research, a descriptive-analytical method has been tried to first take a brief look at the novel "Allaz" and the theoretical framework of critical discourse analysis and then to examine the discourse of this novel based on the method of critical discourse and Vandik. The critical discourse approach is the most specific linguistic tool for telling the story of Ellaz.

In recent years, stylists of literary texts have succeeded in analyzing and interpreting these texts more closely and accurately with a layered stylistic approach, therefore, the study of different layers of style has an effective role in discovering the meanings and ideology of texts. Among the multiple layers of a text, the lexical layer is the most practical layer in the interpretation and reflection of style, and consequently, the poet's worldview. The present study has tried to examine the stylistics of the lexical layer and the analysis of the ideology prevailing in the Alawite praises of the Saudi poet Abdullah Al-Weil Al-Ahsaei with two approaches of linguistic-content and statistical analysis. The results show that, considering that the ideology and style of the poet are directly related to each other, by examining the lexical style of Madahi al-Ahsa'i's poems, we see the manifestation of religious and doctrinal views through appropriate word selection. The vocabulary of these poems has been reviewed in four axes: objective and abstract, cryptography, linguistic pointing elements, and archaism. On the one hand, the high frequency of abstract words reflects the doctrinal nature of Al-Ahsa'i's poems and On the other hand, the dramatic use of the code of the law and the indicative elements that have been used as rational and narrative reasons in defense of her opinion, It includes an emphasis on institutionalizing the poet's religious and ideological themes.

Power and ideology are two key concepts in the critical discourse approach, making discourse meaningful to maintain or change social relations. Ideology covers a set of beliefs and values that play a decisive role in power relations. It is an instrument for establishing unequal power relations in society and giving it legitimacy in critical discourse. The usefulness of examining power relations and ideology via critical discourse analysis is that the analyst seeks to discover the mechanism of social inequality at the substrates of the discourse. The novel Beirut '75 by Ghada al-Samman is an example wit many many underpinnings via which the writer critically criticizes class distance, the unfair power distribution, and authoritarianism. The present study aims to investigate the imbalance of power in situational contexts and to analyze the ideology behind the discourse. The results suggest that some linguistic features such as vocabulary, conditional clauses, tense, and simile play a significant role in highlighting the inequality of power distribution and establishing the opposition of the parties to the discourse. The discourse has two contexts that are different in terms of social, cultural, and worldview classes. Discourse, based on the ideology of authoritarianism, establishes social relations with the aim of achieving personal gain and with the slogan of service for service. Moreover, liberal ideology and values represent absurd traditions and anti-woman society. It represents a failed attempt to achieve freedom, defined in terms of wealth, fame, and power.

Media products, especially those produced on a daily basis by reporters, are one of the most widely used areas for implementing and adapting critical approaches to discourse analysis. The political differences between Iran and Saudi Arabia have created a media space in recent years, which is totally under the control of political discourses governing the governments. The present study was conducted to explain the discourse strategies of the newspaper Al-Sharq al-Awsat in the ideological representation of Iran. To this end, the Van Dijk model was selected as the method of research and 20 analyzes of the political analysis of the newspaper were analyzed. The results of the study showed that the method of processing information and news about Iran in this newspaper was in line with the ideological square of Van Dijk. For example, negative assumptions, polarization in the text at the expense of Iran, introduction as a non-affiliated group, spacing .are among the discourse strategies of this newspaper. In all examined texts, Iran has been introduced as a threat to the security of the region and the world and an inconsistent element among Islamic countries. The authors have tried to block any ideological proposition at different levels of the text and block the way for fair judgment of the audience. The dominant discourse on this paper, during the period under review, seeks to present a picture of Iran that is far from the political and religious reality and has been positively designed and represented in front of all Arab activism.
